This is a duplicate post from ExcelForum.com https://www.excelforum.com/excel-ge...ased-on-a-or-a-manual-entry.html#post4991488\

I am working on a sheet that projects the amount of money each month that should be put into an account to reach a goal at the end of the year. Amount transfers into the account is based on sales percentages for each month of the previous year.

Goal $80,000
B2:M2 has a list of months
B3:M3 is the percentage of the total years sales was in that month
A4 is the amount to put into the account based on the % of sales for that month
A5 is the manual adjusted amount

What needs to happen is, if I manually input an adjustment in line 5 under March I need the other months to adjust so the total is still the goal amount. Or if I want to manually adjust multiple months the un-adjusted values in line A4 need to self adjust so that the final total is equal to the goal.

Excel Facts

Difference between two dates
Secret function! Use =DATEDIF(A2,B2,"Y")&" years"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"YM")&" months"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"MD")&" days"
