Display options on form based on cell values

Hi all,

I hope this is possible, what I am building is a skills matrix, which will have an X in a cell, if someone is trained in a set task.

What I would like to know is that, when someone logs on, by supplying their employee id, zbc123, it looks in the list for their name and then see's what tasks they are trained in and then only loads up those options on a form.

Does that make sense?
