Conditional Formatting

I haven’t used excel in years. How do I format a cell to be red when the cell is blank. Once something is entered into the cell, the cell is no longer red. Please and thank you.

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.

You can add your own custom formula : =A1=""

  • New rule
  • Format only cells that contain
  • Format only cells with: select Blanks
  • set format as you wish
