Hi,

I have data in column G which contains a lot of blanks and was trying to copy the non-blank unique values data in column I. I did an advanced filter but one blank entry is copied over too. Is there a way around this?

Thanks!

Excel Facts

Enter current date or time
Ctrl+: enters current time. Ctrl+; enters current date. Use Ctrl+: Ctrl+; Enter for current date & time.
You can do a regular FILTER on the data. Filter / Select ALL, then deselect the 'blanks' (to show all data without blank cells). If you need original data, I would COPY the Filtered data without the BLANKs to another tab. Then you can run ADVANCED FILTER to get the UNIQUE Values.

Is there a way to do this via a macro and code? I can filter but the end user cannot.

....story of fishing or loaves! Give user a try and show how to filter....you'd be surprised! It's really simple to show filtering.
