Afternoon,

I have a userform which has at present txtboxes for where we manually type data.
For various reasons we encounter problems & thinking of changing these txtboes to Comboboxes.

Changing them over is fine but im concerned with the code that will need to be updated.

I have shown below the full code from the form & just asking if its going to be an issue in respect of start from "Start from scratch or Its not that bad"

Many thanks & please advise.
Have a nice day.

Code:

So to create the dynamic named range on my list i would do this correct ?

Select all the items in my first column.
In the name box below the save icon type say VEHICLE then hit enter.

Go to the combobox in question & under row source type INFO!VEHICLE

Now the drop down should be update every time i add to the list.

Excel Facts

Copy PDF to Excel
Select data in PDF. Paste to Microsoft Word. Copy from Word and paste to Excel.
That would only create a fixed range

Enter your chosen name in the Name Box

then you need to enter a dynamic formula in the RefersTo box like this

=OFFSET(Sheet1!$B$2,0,0,COUNTA(Sheet1!$B:$B),1)

change the sheet name & column as required

Update your code as follows

Code:
Me.ComboBox1.RowSource = "VEHICLE"

This part =OFFSET(Sheet1!$B$2,0,0,COUNTA(Sheet1!$B:$B),1) goes in the box Define Name.
Im lost as i am working on the userform ??

Then this part
Me.ComboBox1.RowSource = "VEHICLE" where do i put that.

This was just an example - you enter the range Name (VEHICLE) where you entered the RowSource range when setting up your combobox

Can you edit this code to show me as each step of this im getting more confused.

=OFFSET(Sheet1!$B$2,0,0,COUNTA(Sheet1!$B:$B),1)

Sheet where the list is INFO
Cell B1 is the header where it currently shows VEHICLE
Then the vehicles name are currently in cells B2:B62

Thanks,
Ive now done that and added a few odd data at the end of each column.
Then looking at the database they are shown,so ive dont it correctly.
Here is an example i see in each drop down list.
VEHICLE
Bmw
Ford
Honda
Porsche
"blank space" ??

Blank space after last entry in every list

Which suggestion are you using.

It's always best to show your code when you have questions.
