Hello,

I have this formula in my project in cell AC4, "=IF(D4>0;AC3-Y4;0)" . AC3 is a date cell equals year 2014.

if in Cell U3 i have date 2015, i want to get 0 in cell AC4.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Best regards.

If U3 contains a date rather than 2015 try
=if(year(u3)=2015;0;if(d4>0;ac3-y4;0))

Maybe if you have a real date formatted as 2015...

=IF(YEAR(U3)=2015;0;IF(D4>0;AC3-Y4;0))

EDIT: My turn to be too slow

Sorry for late answer, i am not an advanced user in excel,

I wrote wrong in my question it should be U4 instead of U3, i changed to U4 in both formulas which was posted to me above and it didnt work.

here is an explanation to my table.

Cell D4 is birthday date in this format (1980-01-01), Cell AC3 is year 2014 in this format (2014), Cell Y4 is birthday also same as D4. Cell U4 is registration date. maybe Cell Y4 is repeated .

What i want is that Cell AC4 shows 0 when registration date is after 2014 as 2015 , 2016 and so on. and if registration date is 2014, earlier or blank, to count the age for example if birthdate is 1990 it would show 24.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Best Regards

Thank you for your time, i am sorry to say its not working.
Whatever date i enter in cell U4 ( registration date ) i get blank in AC4 ( the cell that counts age ).

Is there any way to send you the File ?

Thanks in again.

Best Regards
