Hi Guys ,
Having a bit of an issue allocating overhead costs. In order to get my allocations i have been dividing my sales by my overhead to come up with my percentage of allocation. is there an excel formula that would convert that percentage to a figure? in other words if my allocation is 3% of sales for that job the formula should convert that 3% so i allocate $30.00 to that job for overhead.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
Thanks for your help , i tried that but it does not work is it possible i can share the sheet with the forum
