=IF(A1="","",(IF(B1>A1,"NO","YES")))
NO
12/3/2018

12/2/2018

=IF(A2="","",(IF(B2>A2,"NO","YES")))
YES

I am currently trying to make these two cells both say "NO".

I cannot find where the formula stops working.

This is the formula now. =IF(A1="","",(IF(B1>A1,"NO","YES")))

The cells have the same parameters so I am not sure if it is because of the number format.

If Cell B1 is lower than A1, I want it to say "YES". If it is higher I want it to say "NO"

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
In both of your examples col B is less then col A so both should say YES, which they do for me
