Copy pasting with only values

i am working on a project and i ran into a problem, i have no idea how to copy paste values when not using the paste function, how can i?

Current code:
With Sheets("main")
.Range(.Cells(4, 1), .Cells(lastrowMain, lastColumn)).Copy Sheets("Backup").Range("A" + CStr(lastrowBackup + 1))
End With

Sheets("Backup").Range("A" & CStr(lastrowBackup + 1)).Resize(lastrowMain - 3, LastColumn).Value = .Range(.Cells(4, 1), .Cells(lastrowMain, LastColumn)).Value

I have already considered this solution, and even though it works, this way you don't really copy paste but transfer, i was hoping there was a solution using the copy method

Since your code does not define what

lastrowMain, lastColumn

Is or what

.Range("A" + CStr(lastrowBackup + 1))

Is.

Here is a example of mine:

Sheets(1).Range("A1").Value = Sheets(2).Range("B1").Value

Does not require copy or paste.

You want to copy but not paste?

The function already copies and pastes, logic goes: copy from - to.
But the only way i find to manipulate the copied range type is:
Selection.PasteSpecial Paste:=xlPasteValues
But in my situation i am an not using the paste function and I'm unable to find one for the copy function

Can you please explain exactly what you are trying to do, as it's not clear to me.
