Hi,

Looking to count all the numbers in range H:H but only if A:A contains the value in cell V28 & G: is blank.

COUNTIFS but struggling with correct syntax.
 

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
try
=COUNTIFS(A5:A7,$V$28,G5:G7,"")

just need to adjust the range of A and G to suite your spreadsheet

=sumproduct(--(a1:a1000=$v$28),--(g1:g1000=""),--isnumber(h1:h1000))
