Hi Guys

Happy New Year 2019

I have three sheets tab namely Cost, Price and Stock. I have created three menus with shapes and have macros assigned to these shapes. When the user clicks on the menu for example Cost , the sheet tab name Cost is opened . I would like that vba restrict the user from opening these menus from Sheets tab and also i want vba to pop up a message when the user hover his/her mouse over the sheet tab(message to displayed SHEETS TAB ARE LOCKED PLEASE USE THE MENUS ABOVE).

Your help will be highly be appreciated

regards

rakesh

Excel Facts

Test for Multiple Conditions in IF?
Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.
.
Although there may be a means of disabling the sheet tabs, I am not aware of the method.

You can however, hide the sheet tabs which will accomplish your goal without the need for creating the hover Msg as well.

Go to TOOLS in the Excel Options and locate the DISPLAY SHEET TABS checkbox. Untick the checkbox.
