I have a cell with "42059 Completed QualityReviewed"
in it.
I just want to extract the number itself to another cell.

Any help would be appreciated.

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
If the number is always first as in your sample:

1Are the double-quotes actually part of the string too?

On your particular example you quoted above, please let us know what the following formulas return (assuming your entry is in cell A1):
=LEFT(A1,1)
=CODE(MID(A1,6,1))

If the quotes are actually in the cell:
=MID(A1,2,FIND(" ",A1)-1)+0
