Sorting Pivot Tables

I am noticing strange behavior in one of my Pivot Tables. The columns are called Amount, My Fee, and My % and are shown by month, and subtotaled by Year. When I sort one of the columns for a given month, it works fine. And when I sort a column in the Totals section, it also works fine. However, when I attempt to sort a column in the subtotals section (shown in grey in the table), it seems to calculate for a moment, but then doesn't update the sort correctly.
I have another nearly identical table wherein there is only one column (Amount) and this table sorts just fine, whether its for a particular month, Year, or Total.

The only workaround seems to be to collapse the year, then to do the sort. But, as soon as i expand the year again, the sort reverts back to the order previously shown.

I am a bit stumped and hoping I described the issue clearly enough. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
