Excel 2007.

Columns A1 and B1 contain numbers.

I want a formula to calculate:

If A1 <=500000 Output 0.
If A1 >500000 but <=1000000 output B1*10%
If A1 >1000000 output B1*15%

Excel Facts

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
How about
=IF(A1<=500000,0,IF(A1<=1000000,B1*0.1,B1*0.15))

Hi,

Another way to write that:

=B1*IF(A1<=500000,0,IF(A1<=1000000,0.1,0.15))
