Hello

I have several columns in this spreadsheet and I would like to write a formula (conditional formatting) that would highlight a cell in column S if certain criteria is met.

Column S is the sale date column U is the date an email was sent and column AM is a yes or blank column.

So the conditional format I am trying to write the formula id for column S. I would like to highlight the cell if:

1. The date in column S plus 10 months is greater than the date in cell U1 and Column U and AM are blank.

2. In some cases a cell in column U can be blank while column AM is populated.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
The first condition is obvious for me and quite easy to write in the formula. I do not get the second condition you mention, though. '2. In some cases a cell in column U can be blank while column AM is populated.'-what are these some cases? How to distinguish between whether once column U is blank & AM not is ok and the other time not?

Regards,
Sebastian

=AND(date(years(S2),month(S2)+10,day(S2))>U1, U2="", AM2="")
2. In some cases a cell in column U can be blank while column AM is populated.
and what do you want to do in this case

That was just information, I was not sure if it was needed.

I am getting #NAME ? and narrowed it down to the AM2="" not sure why
