Hey everyone,

Need help in moving rows from "Sheet1" to data table of "Sheet2"

Contents of Sheet 1

if I hit a button, or run a vba, contents from row 2 will be transferred to Sheet 2. Like this:

for multiple rows of Sheet 1, like this

they will be transferred to Sheet 2. Like this:

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
As displayed, you're not likely to get much assistance with this post.
I'd suggest uploading the file to a file sharing site such as box and posting the share link.

Or better yet, use some the tools to post screen images mentioned in section B here: https://www.mrexcel.com/forum/board-announcements/127080-guidelines-forum-use.html, as many of us cannot/will not download files from the internet for security reasons. So you will reach a bigger audience by posting the images directly to the thread than you will by posting a file link to download from.

Pardon me, but you mean to say that I should link the file for you to download? Are you unable to see the images? on my view, i can see the images well. or should I post the table rather than an image?

Please do not start a new thread on the same topic (that is against forum rules). Just keep posting to the current thread (you have 10 mintues in which to edit, after which you will need to add a new reply to the thread).

As well as blocking file downloads, my workplace security also blocks certain types of images (it looks like there is nothing there). So i apologize if there is an image there, I cannot see it. I believe I can see most of them that are posted with the tools in the link I provided.

Cross posted https://www.excelforum.com/excel-pr...move-row-values-then-paste-to-data-table.html

While we do not prohibit Cross-Posting on this site, we do ask that you please mention you are doing so and provide links in each of the threads pointing to the other thread (see rule 13 here along with the explanation: Forum Rules).
This way, other members can see what has already been done in regards to a question, and do not waste time working on a question that may already be answered.

Are you unable to see the images?
As those images are hosted on ExcelForum, I suspect that only members here, who are also members of that site will be able to see them.

Hey everyone, did not meant to confuse anybody. To get it right, here's the figures.

On sheet 1, I populate the contents on row 2,

Book1
ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWX
1PLANTTYPESUB-TYPECODEDESCRIPTIONDETAILSJANUARYFEBRUARYMARCHAPRILMAYJUNEJULYAUGUSTSEPTEMBEROCTOBERNOVEMBERDECEMBER2020202120222023GROUPB/A
2FruitAppleRed11000112233SmallSnow White10101010101010101010101011121314PrincessB
Sheet1

Then when I run a certain macro, contents from row 2 and till the row with values will be deleted and will go to sheet 2, and will transform into a data table,

Book1
ABCDEFGHIJ
1PLANTTYPESUB-TYPECODEDESCRIPTIONDETAILSMONTHPROJECTIONGROUPB/A
2FruitAppleRed11000112233SmallSnow WhiteJANUARY0PrincessB
3FruitAppleRed11000112233SmallSnow WhiteFEBRUARY0PrincessB
4FruitAppleRed11000112233SmallSnow WhiteMARCH0PrincessB
5FruitAppleRed11000112233SmallSnow WhiteAPRIL0PrincessB
6FruitAppleRed11000112233SmallSnow WhiteMAY0PrincessB
7FruitAppleRed11000112233SmallSnow WhiteJUNE0PrincessB
8FruitAppleRed11000112233SmallSnow WhiteJULY0PrincessB
9FruitAppleRed11000112233SmallSnow WhiteAUGUST0PrincessB
10FruitAppleRed11000112233SmallSnow WhiteSEPTEMBER0PrincessB
11FruitAppleRed11000112233SmallSnow WhiteOCTOBER0PrincessB
12FruitAppleRed11000112233SmallSnow WhiteNOVEMBER0PrincessB
13FruitAppleRed11000112233SmallSnow WhiteDECEMBER0PrincessB
14FruitAppleRed11000112233SmallSnow White02020PrincessB
15FruitAppleRed11000112233SmallSnow White02021PrincessB
16FruitAppleRed11000112233SmallSnow White02022PrincessB
17FruitAppleRed11000112233SmallSnow White02023PrincessB
Sheet2

if I repeat the process on sheet 1: populate then run a macro, the contents of sheet 1 (starting from row 2 till the row with value) will be moved to the sheet 2 table. It will be then paste to the next available row.

Hope I cleared things out, my apologies if I confused someone and did not follow the rules. Hope you still help me. Thank you in advance!
