Ignore Cell Fill Color When Printing

Greetings,

Am creating a form where there are cells throughout the form that must be filled in by the user and I have highlighted those cells with a fill color. However, I don't want that fill color to print, but just in those cells, as I do want to print the worksheet in color. I've looked at the forum for answers but most are 10-15 years old, and the version and features of Excel has changed many times since then.

If you are printing it through VBA, why not write some code that clears out the colours in the relevant cells, then executes the print, and then applies the colours again ?
