    Default Hyperlink to folder: Unable to open ... Cannot download the information you requested.

    I manage a team spreadsheet and there's a hyperlink to open a subfolder. It works fine on my computer and others next to me. My supervisor's computer though will not open the hyperlinked folder and gets the error message Unable to open ... Cannot download the information you requested.

    Why does it work on ours but not hers?

    After confirming the Hyperlink actually Exists in the File
    Bring up the Code Sheet for THISWORKWOOK and copy the below macro into it.
    Save, Close the File and then REOPEN..

    Code:
    Private Sub Workbook_Open()
    With Application
            .ScreenUpdating = False
            .DisplayAlerts = False
            .ScreenUpdating = True
    End With
    End Sub
    To display your spreadsheet data use either MrExcel HTML Maker or Excel Jeanie
