Hi

I have a workbook with 6 sheets. Sheets 1-5 I have data in and im copying data into specific cells in sheet 6.

I use paste special- format and also select transpose.

It works fine with sheet 1 when pasting onto sheet 6 but then when trying to copy and paste from sheet 2 onwards it not working.

Any ideas?

Excel Facts

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
None at all.

I just go onto sheet 2 and copy what I need to transfer over and then do the paste special- format and transpose and it dont do nothing.

I thought it was cos all the data on sheet 6 are in the same column but in different rows but that no different.

What it is ive got rows of about 50 columns all along in sheets 1-5 and trying to copy and paste vertically on sheet . I need it paste special as it linked to other pages and I need sheet 6 auto updating when sheets 1-5 are auto updated from somewhere else.

If you are only doing a PasteSpecial formats and transpose you shouldn't get any data transferred to any sheet (including sheet 2).
