I'm using Excel 2016. I have always used Ctrl + F to find a number on a spreadsheet. Now, whenever I try to find a number on a spreadsheet (that I know is there) by using Ctrl +F, a dialog box pops up and states, "We couldn't find what you're looking for. Click Options for more ways to search." When I click on "Options" in the dialog box, I have to change "Look in: Formulas" to "Look in: Values". Is there something I need to set in "Excel Options" so that Excel will always find the data when I use Ctrl + F?

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
