Starting a new project. Curious as to the best way to construct the tables. One table will have the contact info in it. The second table will have the vehicle information owed by the people in the first table. A single person can own several vehicles.

Person A owns 1 car
Person B owns 2 cars
Person C owns 6 cars

end result would be to search for that person and all vehicles owned by that person are displayed. My guess would be that both tables have to have a common field to link.

Any thoughts?

thanks

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
As long as the criteria is unique eg person’s name and found in both tables you can extract vehicles list from table.
