Formula for conditional formating - NOT AS EASY AS IT SEEMS

I need a formula do add to conditional formating to auto turn grey lines depending on day change and acording to the table below?

I need this as an auto in conditional formating.

I can't seem to find a solution

if i choose A1<>A2 dosent work becouse some time i have more that 1 row with same day

Choosing monday, wednesday, friday, and sunday as grey dosent work becouse sometimes it goes from friday to sunday and monday to wednesday.

Any clues how to do this ??

Help will be very apreciared

Assuming you have a header in row 1, select the range A2:G100 (the last cell should be the bottom of your potential range, and the column should be the width you want to highlight). Click Conditional Formatting > New Rule > Use a formula > and enter:

=MOD(SUMPRODUCT(--($A$2:$A2<>$A$1:$A1)),2)=0

and choose your formatting.
