Hello guys,

I need to write a trim macro.
I am using the latest excel.

I have an excel sheet with a lot of spaces and tabs wherevar I have data in the cells.
I need an excel macro to get rid of those spaces and tabs.

Can you help me? I couldn't figure by myself how can I write a trim Macro.

Thank you very much in advance, guys!

Excel Facts

Enter current date or time
Ctrl+: enters current time. Ctrl+; enters current date. Use Ctrl+: Ctrl+; Enter for current date & time.
Can you provide a sample of the data ??
but something like this may work

Code:
Sub MM1()
Dim cell As Range
 For Each cell In ActiveSheet.UsedRange
   cell.Value = Trim(cell.Value)
 Next cell
End Sub
