Hi,
I'm trying to get my %homePath% in a vlookup. I created a vba function
function Homepath()
homepath = "c:"&environ("HOMEPATH"&""
end function
when I enter =VLOOKUP(A5;HomePath()&’[Clients.xlsm]Clients'!$A$1:$G$65536;3;FALSE) I always get #Value aqs result.
When I evaluate this vlookup becomes VLOOKUP(A5;"C:\users\Jos"’[Clients.xlsm]Clients'!$A$1:$G$65536;3;FALSE)
I can't get rid of the double qoutes.

Excel Facts

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
you seem to have malformed homepath and possibly issues with < for display

Mole,
Can you be more specific? My homepath function is correct because it results in the path.
it is
homepath = "c:" & environ("HOMEPATH"). there was a typo.
What do you mean with "
possibly issues with < for display
"

because it appeared to just stop (without testing) there is a known html issue with < that would instruct the bbs to process as a command, hence the space. As it is right don't worry :)
