I would like to filter the contents of Excel sheets In another sheet

I have 5 cells I want each cell is connected by its sheet so i can filtre them without getting back to other sheets

If it's a normal table you want to do this to you can use the worksheet change selection method.

Sheet1 has the cell you want to link to you your table filter
Right click sheet1 select "View Code" and paste this code

This means that whatever you type into cell H1 will be copy and pasted to a cell on your other sheet (Edit the code based on the cells you actually want to link, and make sure the page that is being referenced matches your page name, for example if your page name isn't "Sheet2" the above code will need to be edited.)

Then Right click Sheet2 and select "View Code" and paste this code into sheet2:

Essentially this means anything that is typed or pasted into cell B1 will be used as a filter, and since we already set up sheet 1 so that whatever was typed into cell h1 will be pasted into sheet2 b1, this means when you type into sheet 1 H1, it will copy and paste that to sheet 2 b1 and that will automatically change the table filter based on the value. If you type All it will show everything.

Make sure the field# matches up with your data. For instance if you want to filter column 1 then use the field # as 1.

There is definitely a better way to do this, but I'm not sure how to do it and I thought I would just show you what I know since there was no other responses.
