So i need to extract time from a 2 cells, clash against a date and return a sum
so
Column D = Name
D2 = John Smith
Column E = Shift Total Hours
E2 = 08:00
Column F= Shift Date
F2 = 06/01/2019
F3 = 07/01/2019
Column I = Name
I2 = John Smith
Column J = Absence Start
J2=01/01/2019 08:00
Column K = Absence End
K2=31/01/2019 16:00

So what i need to show in 2 separate columns M and N is absence time lost for the 06/01 and 07/01, but not to but greater than the shift time.

so it should be 08:00 for 06/01 and 07/01

how do i formulae this?
