I have a spreadsheet with a drop down list. This drop down list may need to have new entries added. At the bottom of the list, I want another option added, "Add new organisation". When this option is selected, I want someway of adding a new organisation to the list of organisations. How would I go about this or even, is it possible? The list is on another sheet with nothing below it.

Excel Facts

Create a chart in one keystroke
Select the data and press Alt+F1 to insert a default chart. You can change the default chart to any chart type
If you want a Dynamic Data Validation List here is what I do

I create a 1 column Table

Then in the Data Validation Box I choose List
Then select the Table Range

As I add more rows to the Table the Data Validation list also expands.

I worked out what I will do. I made a table and then you can just double click on the drop down list to get a cursor, delete what ever is in the list, type in the new item then press enter and it asks you if you want to add a new item to the list.

Thanks guys.
