I have a table with some timestamps and some values. I need to group the data based on the time difference between datapoints - for example if the time difference between two points is greater than 3 days, put data in a new group.

I have tried using a pivot table for this but can only group by time interval (day, month, etc..), not by time difference.

Excel Facts

Control Word Wrap
Press Alt+Enter to move to a new row in a cell. Lets you control where the words wrap.
what range are your data points, if three days is a standard then some sort of ceiling function I would think controlled off a spare column
