Hi,

I have a shared excel workbook that has a bunch of macros in it. I have it set to open up in read only so users can't modify the information in it but I want to be able to know who has it open. So I was wondering if there is a way to check what users have the file open in read only. Is this even possible?

Thanks

When they said...
When they said you are going to "Excel at life", they meant you "will be doing Excel your whole life".
Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I need to keep the workbook as read only. Can you share a workbook but make it read only ? SOunds counter intuitive I know.

Are you refering to a shared workbook or to a workbook in a shared location ?
