VBA filter by most recent date

Hi,

I have table with one column only with values date-time in it (yyyy-mm-rr hh:mm).
How can I filter this to show the newest date only?

Sub filter_newest()
   dim my_table as Object
   Set my_table = ThisWorkbook.Worksheets("Sheet1").ListObjects("Table1")
   (...)
End Sub

If it's a table can you not just sort it by date so the latest appears at the top?
