My apologies to start off with. I am teaching myself and need some assistance.

I have a table that has columns. what I want to happen is that when I enter new data into this table it will send it to my other table without having to enter it all over again. what formula would I use?

I want it to grab the text in column 2 and data from columns 5 and 7 only.

Any help would be appreciated.

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
I see you are new to the Forum.
It's always best when asking questions to be very specific.

For example you said I have a table

A Table and a sheet are not the same.

So please provide the two Table names or the two sheet names.

A Table is a Range on a sheet.

And you said:
I want it to grab the text in column 2 and data from columns 5 and 7 only.

Grab it and put it where?

We would need to know other Sheet name and where on the sheet.

So if you would provide more specific information I may be able to help you.

And are you willing to use Vba?
