Hi
I am using the if function in the calculation of tax . am looking if it is possible to use vlookup index match to calculate the tax amount

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
G'day Shamsu,

It may be possible, but until you post specifically what you are trying to achieve, along with the data sets you are going to be using then we cannot provide specific help.

What is needed I hear you ask? - the inputs to your calculations, (cell addresses not absolutely necessary but helpful), the calcluation(s) you wish to apply using those inputs, and what outputs you expect to generate (again, cell addresses helpful but not necessary).

Cheers

shane
