I am hoping that this is possible + easy! :) I am Excel-challenged.

I have a bunch of data. Certain words appear in various columns. I'd like to be able to direct Excel to:

If "word" resides in A1, put a "5" in C1.
And so on, so Excel will continue down all rows, looking for "word" in Col A,
and if there, adding a 5 to the same row Col C.

Thank you SO much in advance!! :)

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
