Hi Everyone,
I have list of about 3000 names down column A that are the names for each range,
every range needs to be "The row the names in" Columns C:Y"

is there a macro or easy way to do this without adding them all manually?

thanks

Tony

Excel Facts

Create a Pivot Table on a Map
If your data has zip codes, postal codes, or city names, select the data and use Insert, 3D Map. (Found to right of chart icons).
Would it matter is col B was also in the named range?

May I ask why do you need so many named range?
Is it for the source of data validation?
If yes then actually you can use vba and use just one named range to do the job.

it is easy if the names and data are contiguous. best to save the file first

so, if you can temporarily put the names in column B
then select from B1:Yzz
then CTRL-SHIFT-F3
left column (ALT-L)
and return

then move back to column A the data that was temporarily in B
