Match criteria in Column A and count amount of remaining cells below

Hello,

I would like to match and find a criteria in column A from C1 cell, and then calculate how many cells has values below with including the found one.
By looking at the table below it should return count of 4.
Much appreciate your help.

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
Please ignore I found the way of doing it:

=COUNTIF($A$3:$A$11,">="&C1)
