Hello,
Is it possible to fix permanently the data already copied in a cells (using an excel formula) during the current month, once the current month changes.

ie. if in C7 the data copied from G8 on 20-07-19 (or any date of the any current month) is "pen", when the current month changes in due course to 01-08-2019 [inserted in A1 suing the formula, =today()] the value in C7 should get fixed as "pen" and should not change even if any data is entered in the G8, the source cell thereafter.

If excel formula is not possible for this then Macro.

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Hello,
Yeah, that is good. But is it possible using a formula

Hello,
=IF($A$1>=C6,VALUE(G8),0), where C6 is month and year (mmm-yy), which is constant.

But later on when the value in A1 (because it is =Today()) changes if we change the value of G8 the value of C7 becomes 0. How to prevent this. Is it possible using formula.
