I am doing a project timeline chart in excel. I have 3 series in stacked bar chart. The categorization of the series is based on the first two columns of the chart. The fourth series is just displaying the data label. All the three series in the chart is the difference between the different columns and in all the series, the categorization is based on the first and second columns. I am getting output.

But my requirement is: I want to display the above in reverse order.

What I am doing:

After adding the first series, I selected the X axis ( first two columns which are grouped based on number and project) and selected the option "Categorization by values" based on the first and second column. When I select the data, it automatically selects the axis in the ascending order. So I am categorizing the values of first and second column. It reverses the first and second column in the stacked bar chart but not the values.

There are two things happening as of now:

1) The data becomes inaccurate. 2) The values for the second series is not getting displayed when they have blank fields in the columns F and G.

Why I am not able to categorize the values in reverse order I wanted?
