In column G I need to see the SUM of column D from the row i'm currently on up to row 3 is there a way to write a formula that when i copy it down it automatically expands the sum cells? so if i'm in G20 it sums D20 all the way back to D3 and then if i drag that formula down it automatically pulls everything from the current row back to row 3?

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Is this what you mean?

In G20 put the formula =SUM(D$3:D20)
Copy the formula down.
