I would like my VLookup to return a blank cell if the cell it's searching is blank. Can this be done?

thank you,

Excel Facts

Ambidextrous Undo
Undo last command with Ctrl+Z or Alt+Backspace. If you use the Undo icon in the QAT, open the drop-down arrow to undo up to 100 steps.
Something like
=if(VLOOKUP(…)=0,"",vlookup(…))

If in the cell you see a 0 as a result you can change the format of the cell to:

;;;

I would make it
=if(VLOOKUP(…)="","",vlookup(…))
so that a legitimately looked up value of 0 is not converted to "".
