I am trying to compare an address on sheet A with an address on sheet B and if they match put data from column E on sheet 2 into column H on sheet 1.

Here is the formula I have that is not working.
=VLOOKUP(F2,ActiveCustomerListing!$D$2:$E$36000,3,0)

Column F on sheet 1 is an address
Column D on sheet 2 is an address
Column E on sheet 2 is a phone number

Thanks for any help.

ExcelTom,

It looks like your col_index_num is one column too far. You are only indexing into columns D & E so the max should be 2.

Try
=VLOOKUP(F2,ActiveCustomerListing!$D$2:$E$36000,2,0)
