Hi everyone,

I am hoping that somebody will be able to help me as I haven't been able to figure this out on my own or find the answer anywhere on the net yet.

I am in the process of creating a data dashboard for data reporting at work. As part of this I have created a document that allows the user to change the data shown using a set of drop down lists (done using data validation and sumifs formulas).

My problem is that in one of the dashboards I have a scatter chart that I would like Excel to automatically change the axis cross over point for dependent on the data the user is looking at. This is so that the user can look at whether or not certain data points are performing ahead of the total market information.

Does anybody know if it is possible to get Excel 2010 to amend the vertical/horizontal axis cross point based on data in a particular cell?

Many thanks in advance

Click the italics "fx" icon to the left of the formula bar to open the Functions Arguments dialog. Help is displayed for each argument.
the macro recorder is great for this sort of thing. ALT-T-M-R to start it.

ActiveChart.Axes(xlCategory).CrossesAt = Range("YourCell").Value2

Please set activechart or change first reference. cheers
