Hi all, not sure if this is possible, but...

Does anyone know if you can update a Pivot Table that has grouped date data (Year and Quarter) automatically, but retain that grouped date data after the refresh?

I have been able to get the Pivots to update when I save and re-open the sheet (using Pivot Table Options, Data tab), but it removes the date field completely and means I have to then re-add it back in, then re-group to years and quarters for each table. It does the same whenever I refresh the Pivot manually.

I am using Excel 2016 and keen to avoid VBA if I can.
