Insert a new row between two two adjacent row from a 600 rows

Hi,

Is there a quicker way of insert a new row between two adjacent rows of a 600 rows speadsheet?

At present we are using click on Ctrl + highlight the row one by one and click on insert?

Excel Facts

Last used cell?
Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
Here is one way to do it manually:

Go to a blank column and enter 1 and 2 in the top 2 cells.
Select both cells and drag down to the bottom of your data. (Should give you an increasing sequence.)
Now select that column of numbers and copy. Paste in the cell immediately below the bottom number. (You now have that column with a repeated sequence of numbers)
Now select from the top left of your data to the very bottom of that new column of numbers and Sort base on that new column of numbers.
Delete the new column of numbers.
