Filter only displays 10,000 unique items

Hello,

Using Excel 2016, I have a sheet with over 100 columns. I put a filter on it so I can quickly review each column for bad data, but I get a message a the bottom of the drop down saying "Not all items showing". When I click on it, I get a message saying "This column has more than 10,000 unique items. Only the first 10,000 unique items are displayed". How do I get it to view all rows?

You can't, not directly using the autofilter.

One usual workaround is to restrict the filter values further, into chunks of less than 10000 unique items.
