Hi

I have a double-click event that copies a cell on the same row as the Target but that lies within a hidden column.

It won't copy and I'm wondering if there is a way of forcing it to copy.

I've searched online but can't find anything that really fits my issue.

Thanks in advance,
Liam

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
Could you show us your code?
With both column A & D hidden, this works for me:
Code:
Range("A1").Copy Range("D1")

In this case, column A is unhidden and column D is hidden. The double-click event applies to column A.
Code:
Private Sub Worksheet_BeforeDoubleClick(ByVal Target As Range, Cancel As Boolean)
If Not Intersect(Range("A:A"), Target) Is Nothing Then
    Cells(Target.Row, "D").Copy Destination:=Cells(Target.Row, "E")
End If
End Sub
