Calculate Day Name in a Month and then Average

Good morning excelites,

I need help with a formula to average data for a given day based on the data below.

I need to first identify what day of the month (Mon, Tue etc) a day number falls on in any given month and then average those days out.

For example, in the table below "Day of Month" in "Month No 1" is a Monday (looked at a calendar ;)). I want to be able to identify that using an excel formula. Once I identify all the days below into Day Names, I want to be able to average out all Mondays, Tuesdays etc. in the Month.

Any help is much appreciated.

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
