I realise I am a little out of date Excel-wise as I have spent the last year and a half on Excel 2010 and found the Save Workspace feature incredibly useful (this after **** near 20 years of never having touched it before).

As far as I can see it has been removed in later versions (I'm now using 365 ProPlus) - is there any equivalent feature or has it gone completely?

Excel Facts

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
Id never heard of it but microsoft say:

Note: The Save Workspace command is not available in Excel 2013 and later. However, you can still open a workspace file (*.xlw) that was created in an earlier version of Excel. To view multiple windows in Excel 2013 or later, open the workbooks you want to show, or create new windows (View > New Window), and then arrange them the way you want (View > Arrange All).

Thanks Steve - I literally had not used in, noted its existence or spent any time considering Workspaces prior to 18 months ago - then I realised just how flipping useful they were when you might have 20+ workbooks open and needed to continue working with those the next day! Saved an age saving the Workspace and just opening all the files via clicking on that.

Thanks Microsoft for removing that feature (y)
