Pivot and Filter using Search

Hi,
Is there a trick outside of the Pivot to select the items in the search option by linking it to a list? I have 10 pre-defined items to select in the search bottom.
I keep adding them using "Add current selection to filter". This is tricky and time consuming. Just wondering if you can help me with this
