Hello,

I have the formula: =IF(INDEX('4WK MVT'!B:B,MATCH('Worksheet'!C12,'4WK MVT'!D:D,0))="*"&"DC"&"*",True,False)

The end goal here is if the returned result has "DC" in it, I want it to the True, if not, False.

Pretty sure I am using the wildcard incorrectly or something. Thank you!

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Found the solution. No answer needed.

=IF(ISNUMBER(SEARCH("DC",INDEX('4WK MVT'!B:B,MATCH('Dairy Allocation Worksheet'!C12,'4WK MVT'!D:D,0)))),"DC",INDEX('4WK MVT'!B:B,MATCH('Dairy Allocation Worksheet'!C12,'4WK MVT'!D:D,0)))

using ISNUMBER and SEARCH to find the value, then return what I want.
