If you start asking yourself if now is a good time to save your Excel workbook, the answer is Yes
I guess it depends on what you call easy. If you have the new array formulas, it would just be:

=SORT(C5:C10)

Can't get much easier. But those aren't widely available yet. Yes, there are ways to dynamically sort a list in Excel with current functions. You can find many places that explain them, including several threads on this forum. Try Googling "Excel dynamic sort formula character". There are several versions.
